Director, Marie Therese Piccioni and Associate, Melissa Ogonoski of Your Part Time Comptroller (YPTC) will focus on financial aspects of grants, providing an overview of the 990 and audit, and preparing grant budgets and budget narratives. Attendees will also receive guidance on preparing for the final stages of the grant process, from panel reviews to in-person site visits.
Advocacy 101 | Wednesday, January 21, 2026
Leah McDermott of Florida Nonprofit Alliance will provide an overview of advocacy and lobbying for nonprofits, including why it’s important, the legal and practical implications, and how to do both effectively. An overview of board members’ roles and responsibilities and how to prepare messaging will be covered. A legislative update on the federal and state level will be provided.
