Physicians VS. Attorneys Charity Softball Tournament Returns May 19

The annual Sawbones VS. Jawbones Charity Softball Tournament is back for its twelfth year!

Local physicians and attorneys will show off their skills and compete for this year’s trophy at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 19th, at Holman Stadium at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex. This tournament is held every year to support United Way of Indian River County’s mission to improve lives and create lasting change.

“We love this community,” said Dr. Jeff Livingston of Vero ENT Associates. “We live and work here in Indian River County and believe the United Way is putting in the effort to help our neighbors thrive. We’re happy to have the opportunity to give back in any way we can.”

Presenting sponsor, Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital welcomes the public to bring their friends, family, and team spirit. The newly renovated concession stands will be open. The event is free, but a donation of $5.00 per vehicle is encouraged.

Last year, the charity softball tournament raised nearly $8,000 for the programs and services supported by United Way. An opening ceremony with the 2nd annual Vero Beach Little League United Way Cup will be held at 6:00 PM prior to the main event.
