Day of Caring

Canceled for 2021!

This one-day volunteer event is unlike any other in Indian River County! Each year countless volunteers roll up their sleeves and work together to make a difference in our community.

Day Of Caring 2021 Update

Indian River County Middle and Hish School students help to assemble over 3,000 weekend snack packs that will be distributed to local elementary school students.

Due to an overabundance of caution, the United Way of Indian River County has decided to cancel this year’s Day of Caring event scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2021.

Traditionally, volunteers throughout our community gather together to compete projects hosted by our community partners. While we need to once again reimagine this event, our mission to honor Day of Caring remains the same: to help volunteers to give back to the place we all call home.

In celebration of our 60th anniversary, we invite you to join us as we look back at 60 years of impact, and look ahead at the future we can build together.

We encourage you to get involved and check out 60 Ways to Celebrate United Way of Indian River County’s 60th Anniversary.
